Welcome to the Lowdham Pantomime Group and the Lowdham Players.

We are a friendly amateur theatre group with over 50 members ranging from ages 10 to 70+. Based in the Nottinghamshire village of Lowdham, the group’s first production was ‘Little Bo Peep’ in 1978. We perform a Pantomime every February half-term and we recently staged our first play June 2011, the comedy murder mystery ‘Inspector Drake and the Perfekt Crime’. We were awarded ‘The Belper Cup’ in recognition for the high standard of production by the Nottingham and Notts Drama association for last years pantomime ‘Jack and the Beanstalk’. Our next production ‘Calendar Girls’ will be performed on stage at Lowdham Village Hall from Wednesday 5th September to Saturday 8th September 2012 curtain at 7:30pm. We are proud to announce we will be one of the very first amateur theatre groups in the country to be performing Calendar Girls, book your tickets early, sure to be a sell-out. Our next pantomime will be ‘Puss In Boots’, casting and first meeting will be Wednesday 19th September 2012 at 8:00pm at Lowdham Village Hall, show dates 20th to the 23rd February 2013.
